Inova Oakville’s Emergency Room in Alexandria, VA seeks an experienced Emergency Room RN to join our expanding team in the Eastern Region of Northern Virginia. This full-time role offers sign-on and relocation bonuses and orientation across all shifts (days, mids, and nights).

The Oakville facility provides a 24/7 full-service ER with advanced tech, staffed by board-certified ER physicians and specialized nurses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year RN clinical experience in acute care.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia as an RN; BLS from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes and standards of care.

Inova Oakville - Emergency Roomis seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to join our team. Come be a part of our expansion in the Eastern Region of Northern Virginia! Eligible Nurses will qualify for sign on & relocation bonuses.

Full-Time, Mids Shifts (11a-11p & 1p-1a).During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

Inova Health Center – Oakville is our brand-new state-of-the‑art health care facility in Alexandria, VA. Located in the Potomac Yard neighborhood, this outpatient facility includes a full-service emergency room, ambulatory surgery, imaging services, primary care and other medical offices.

• Full-service emergency room open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience:Requires a minimum ofone yearof Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• License:Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Certification:BLS from American Heart Association
• Proficient in English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others
• Proficient computer skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strongly prefer 2 year plus of ED RN experience.
• CEN/ACLS certification desired
