Job summary

Inova Health in Ashburn, VA, seeks a Night Shift ER Registered Nurse for a full-time position from 7pm to 7am. Qualified candidates are eligible for a sign-on bonus. Inova Health is a leading nonprofit healthcare provider with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and patient experience.

The Ashburn HealthPlex offers advanced imaging, on-site lab testing, and a loved shared governance model. Minimum RN experience, BSN preferred, with BLS and Virginia RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN clinical experience in acute care.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in Virginia.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing; if ADN, BSN must be completed within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination.
• Deliver patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner.
• Use integrated approaches toward patient outcomes and adherence to care pathways.
• Coordinate care with the healthcare team following standards and guidelines.

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• License: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer (2) plus years ED RN experience.
• ACLS preferred.
