Job summary

Inova Healthplex in Ashburn, VA seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its freestanding Emergency Department. This full-time day shift (7am-7pm) role offers a sign-on bonus and a collaborative team environment.

As part of the Inova system, you will provide patient-centered emergency care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and participate in a shared governance model while pursuing clinical ladder advancement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN clinical experience in acute care.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in VA.
• BSN from an accredited school; ADN with BSN within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination for patients and families.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient- and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes and standards of care.
• Utilize guidelines and pathways for care delivery.

TheInova Healthplex in Ashburnis a free standing Emergency Department. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced ER Nurse to join a first class, collaborative and team-oriented group. This free standing Emergency Unit is a division ofInovaLoudoun hospital.The role is full time, Day- Shift 7am-7pm. Qualified candidates will be eligible for a sign on bonus.

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
• Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• License: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing.If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer (1) plus years ED RN experience.
• ACLS preferred. ithin 5 years of start date.
