Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Pool PRN position. The role involves float to multiple units and 12-hour shifts, with requirement of hospital nursing experience and an active RN license.
Tiered certifications are expected: BLS within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within six months, and potential NIH/other certifications as units require. Minimum two years’ RN experience, with CCS/CCU exposure preferred.
PRN: 3 12‑hour shifts.
Must have 1 year plus hospital experience.

Provides direct day‑to‑day care of patients and families.
Practices to the fullest extent of employee license in accordance with organizational policies. Under the direction of the Nurse Director, functions as a member of the Float Team to implement the patient’s plan of care.
Provides population specific care and meets the developmental needs of populations served.

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Additional requirements include:
Float to the following units: Nephrology/Oncology (NEON), 4N, Neuro Progressive Care Unit, Nursing Rehab, Telemetry, Progressive Stepdown Unit (IMCU), Surgical Unit.
Certifications required for Tier I:
Meet all Tier 1 criteria and be competent to float to two specialty areas: Cardiovascular Unit (CVICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Emergency Department (ED), Labor/Delivery/Recovery (LDRP). Certifications required for Tier 2:
At least two (2) years experience as a Registered Nurse required (unless previous LPN experience).
