Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shifts (3x12, 7a-7p) to join Lifepoint Health’s care team. The role includes administering medications, performing care plans, documenting care, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Formación

• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school required.
• ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Administers plan of care, including medication administration and other clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Coordinates care with multidisciplinary team including transfers, discharges, and referrals.
• Provides patient/family education appropriate to age and condition.

The ER is a 7-bed unitthat provides direct patient care to critically ill adult patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
• Documents patient care given.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• ACLS, BCLS, PALS; NIHSS within 90 days of hire
• Education: Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Licenses: Must have a current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
