Qualifications

  • Pharmacist licensure in Kentucky required; PharmD preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify and resolve drug-related problems.
  • Provides drug information and education to medical staff, patients, and students.
  • Documents interventions and their outcomes for drug therapy quality improvement.

How you'll contribute

A pharmacistwho excels in this role:

  • Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required; Doctoral Degree Preferred
  • Pharmacy License in the state of Kentucky
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
