Job summary

Salt Lake Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day Shift (6am-6pm) to join our team. This 118-bed psychiatric hospital provides specialized treatment for adolescents and adults in a confidential setting.

We value patient-centered care and teamwork, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. Utah licensure, CPR, and Handle With Care training are required or completed within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Utah State Board of Nursing licensure required.
CPR certification and Handle With Care training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a psychiatric setting.
Monitor and document patient conditions and progress.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop care plans.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: No minimum required.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Utah State Board of Nursing

Additional Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, HCFA, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. CPR certification and successful completion of training in Handle With Care within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
