Benchmark Behavioral Health System, Inc. in Woods Cross, UT is seeking a Registered Nurse (PRN) to provide skilled psychiatric and behavioral health nursing care on an 8-hour shift schedule.

The role includes completing assessments, administering medications, leading the unit, and teaching residents about their care, with a wage of $35–$45 per hour plus a generous shift differential for evenings, nights and weekends. No benefits package.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an RN in the State of Utah.
• One year of experience preferred, but right for a new graduate.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilités

• Complete assessments and plan of care on assigned patients and provide individualized nursing care.
• Administer medications and educate residents about their medications.
• Check medication orders, dosage and side effects and document per policy.
• Respond to residents' medical needs and provide health care teaching.
• Identify potential crises and respond appropriately.
• Lead the unit to ensure safe and therapeutic operation.

Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour dependent on education & experience, plus generous shift differential for evening, grave and weekend shifts

Status: PRN (8 hr shifts) - 6:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm or 10:00pm - 6:00am - NO benefits package

Location: 592 West 1350 South, Woods Cross, UT

Your role & responsibilities include:

• Completing assessments and plan of care on assigned patients and provides individualized nursing care
• Administers medications as assigned and serves as a resource for knowledge of medication uses; including educating residents about their medications
• Check for proper medication orders, dosage, side effects and documents medications according to policy
• Respond to and assesses resident's medical needs and promotes and provides health care teaching to residents
• Be proactive in identifying potential crisis situations and responding appropriately
• Function as a leader on the unit to ensure the unit is operating in a safe and therapeutic manner

Qualifications

Your Qualifications include:

• Licensed as a RN in the State of Utah or authorization to practice in Utah
• Prefer one year of experience, BUT are willing to consider the right new graduate
• Possess a strong work ethic, responsible attendance and punctuality
• Must be capable of passing a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen
