Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a Day Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift, full-time position in Pryor, Oklahoma. The role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care within the ambulatory setting and coordinating services to support patient recovery.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, promote patient education, and adhere to hospital standards as part of the Day Surgery unit. This role requires BSN/ADN, Oklahoma or multi-state RN license, and relevant certifications with

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN degree required.
• Oklahoma RN license (or multi-state license) on hire.
• At least 1 year of ambulatory healthcare experience.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support the hospital's nursing process and provide care to all patients.
• Coordinate healthcare services reflecting ambulatory nursing standards.
• Promote teamwork with physicians and other departments.
• Initiate healthcare training/education for patients and families to aid recovery.

• Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including ENT, emergency services, general surgery, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, podiatry, outpatient infusions, radiology, women's services, wound care, 3D mammo and more.

Responsibilities

Position has the responsibility of supporting mission of the hospital; demonstrating the knowledge and skills to carry out the nursing process; care to all patients, coordinating healthcare services that reflect philosophy and standards of ambulatory health and nursing care of assigned patients’; promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel from other departments; initiates healthcare training and education to the patient and/or patient’s significant other to facilitate recovery.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN
• Oklahoma or applicable Multi-state RN license (upon hire)
• 1 year experience in ambulatory healthcare setting
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
• PALS (within 90 days of hire)
