Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a night shift, full-time Inpatient Specialty Post-Surgical Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care on a dynamic Med/Surg unit and supporting a culture where patient safety and compassionate care come first.

You will be accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care in line with HHS standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required.
• Current Oklahoma RN Licensure.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Demonstrate knowledge to provide care appropriate to the age of patients on the unit.
• Assess data reflecting patient status and identify age-specific needs for care.
• Plan for care provision including development and modification of the plan of care.
• Adhere to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act rules and regulations.

Learn About A Day in the Life of a Med Surg RN:

• Accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.
• Expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.

Job Requirements:
