Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, PRN, Day Surgery OR Pre-Op Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality pre-operative care. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure readiness for procedures.

The RN will perform nursing processes, collaborate with the team, and ensure patient safety and readiness for operations. Licensure, accreditation, and BLS compliance are required in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Oklahoma is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Coordinate and direct nursing care for patients based on established clinical standards and in collaboration with other professionals.
• Incorporate patient age and cultural considerations to provide safe, effective care and contribute to quality improvement.

The Registered Nurse in Outpatient is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. He/ she is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care of critically ill patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes, serving as a resource when directed, utilizing knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity into the provision of care, and contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrates positive patient care outcomes.

Job Requirements:
