Job summary

Hillcrest HealthCare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, full-time Recovery Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our inpatient team. You will apply the nursing process to provide direct patient care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and assist in coordinating resources on the unit.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Oklahoma or multistate license, maintains BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and embraces a patient-centered, team-based approach

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an RN license applicable in Oklahoma or a multistate license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months of date of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for all patients in the recovery area.
• Supervise and coordinate unit personnel when in charge; promote teamwork with physicians and other departments.
• Participate in care planning and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid Multi State or Oklahoma RN license
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• ACLS within 6 months of date of hire
• PALS within 6 months of date of hire

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One or more current years of acute care experience as a RN with (1) year peri-operative nursing experience
