ChristianaCare's Union Hospital in Elkton, MD is hiring a Registered Nurse II for the Cecil Campus Float Pool. This full-time/flex position offers 72 hours bi-weekly, 7:00 am–7:30 pm shifts across day and evening coverage, with weekend and rotating holiday requirements per department guidelines.

As a Float Pool nurse, you will work in multiple units, broaden skills, and contribute to patient care with collaboration, advocacy, critical thinking, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or commitment to obtain BSN within three years of hire.
• Two years recent Med/Surg nursing in hospital setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across multiple units in the Float Pool.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient needs.
• Ensure patient advocacy and safety across shifts.

General Requirements:

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
• Qualified applicants required have two years recent Medical/ Surgical nursing acute experience in a hospital setting
• BLS required

Hourly Pay Range: $42.11 - $67.37This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
