Job summary

Highpoint Health Sumner, part of Lifepoint Health, in Gallatin, TN, is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for the Cardiac/Telemetry Unit A5 on the Day shift. This FT role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and the chance to care for patients with cardiovascular diseases using telemetry monitoring.

Applicants must hold TN or multi-state RN licensure, have an ADN/BSN or RN Diploma, and maintain BLS; ACLS within 6 months if not current.

Qualifications

• Current TN or Multi-State RN licensure required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN or RN Diploma).
• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months if not current on hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care on the Cardiac/Telemetry Unit A5.
• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with the care team to optimize cardiovascular outcomes.
• Support patient education and family communication as needed.

The Sumners Cardiac/Telemetry Unit (A5) at Highpoint Health is a 24-bed unit specializing in the care of patients with cardiovascular diseases. This unit is dedicated to providing exceptional cardiac care, leveraging advanced telemetry monitoring and a comprehensive approach to cardiovascular health.

Qualifications And Requirements

Applicants should have a current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure and possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.

Additional Requirements Include

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 6 months of employment, if not current upon hire
