Highpoint Health Sumner in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Telemetry unit on a full-time day shift. The 24-bed unit specializes in cardiovascular care with advanced telemetry monitoring.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee or multi-state RN licensure.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.
• BLS certification current at hire (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS certification required within 6 months if not current at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care on a 24-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit (A5).
• Utilize telemetry monitoring to detect and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.
• Support patient and family education and discharge planning.

The Sumners Cardiac/Telemetry Unit (A5) at Highpoint Health is a 24-bed unit specializing in the care of patients with cardiovascular diseases. This unit is dedicated to providing exceptional cardiac care, leveraging advanced telemetry monitoring and a comprehensive approach to cardiovascular health.

Qualifications and requirements:

Applicants should have a currentState of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensureand possess anAssociate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing.

Additional requirements include:

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required within 6 months of employment, if not current upon hire
