New York Cancer & Blood Specialists (NYCBS) is seeking a bilingual RN (Spanish/English) in Washington Heights, NY. You will administer chemotherapy and biologic agents, monitor patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support care and research participation.

Responsibilities include vital signs monitoring, charting, patient education, and ensuring safe handling of cytotoxic agents. Travel to NYCBS locations may be required, with competitive benefits and a starting wage of $52

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations.

• Recognize and treat cancer-related and treatment-related issues.
• Monitor and chart vital signs, document in the medication administration record.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge.
• Participate in cancer research trials, administering medications per protocol.
• Provide supportive resources to patients and caregivers to promote health and wellness.
• Teach patients and caregivers about treatment expectations.
• Monitor patient status during administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive medications.
• Chart the patient’s response to treatment and medication.
• Educate patients and caregivers about follow up care and emergency services.
