Lifepoint Health's Twin County Regional Healthcare in Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health for PRN, various shifts. You will join a 12-bed BH unit focused on adult acute care and care planning.

This role supports the patient care team in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Active Virginia RN license is required; BLS within 30 days; ACLS/PALS preferred; one year of med/surg or behavioral health experience preferred.

Competenze

• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Handle with Care training required within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• One year of med/surg or behavioral health experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

How you'll contribute

A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role will:

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for

Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire
• Handle with Care is required within 6 months of hire
• ACLS, PALS & ACLS is preferred
• One year of med/surg or behavioral health experience is preferred

Hourly Range:$31.49 - $40.38
