Twin County Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for Women's Services in Virginia. The role supports obstetrics and gynecology care, lactation and related women's health services within a 12-bed unit. It requires a Virginia RN license and offers night shifts with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
• Delivers care appropriate to patient condition and age.
• Documents medical necessity in the medical record.
• Maintains and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan.
• Completes timely quality improvement assessments.

How you'll contribute

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we're looking for

Applicants should have an active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

Additional Requirements Include

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if 30 days before hire
• ACLS, PALS & NRP and Handle With Care preferred
