Job summary

Complete Care in Brick Township, NJ is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to lead the clinical team, promote high-quality resident care, and help shape a culture built on compassion and collaboration. You will mentor staff, monitor clinical outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to survey readiness and performance improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in long-term care, and a commitment to staff development.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher.
• Current, unencumbered New Jersey RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in long-term care or post-acute settings preferred.
• Prior experience managing staff is required.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with CMS, NJDOH, and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure nursing personnel comply with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee MDS process, care planning, and survey readiness.
• Apply infection prevention and control knowledge to daily operations.
• Lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new nursing staff.

Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree

• Ability to lead quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures.
• Experience in staff education, orientation, and competency evaluations
• Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
