Job summary

Complete Care at Bey Lea is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Preventionist (RN) in New Jersey. You will lead the clinical team, promote outstanding resident care, and shape a culture of compassion, collaboration, and excellence.

An RN license and Infection Preventionist Certification are required, with 2+ years in long-term care preferred. You will collaborate with leadership, manage infection prevention goals, help oversee budgets, and mentor staff.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's Degree
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in long-term care or post-acute setting is preferred
• Infection Preventionist Certification required
• Prior experience managing staff
• LPN may be considered based on experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the facility leadership and medical director to develop, implement, and evaluate the annual infection prevention goals and action plan
• Establish a facility-wide system for the prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections of residents, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of on-going staff development programs for all personnel within facility
• Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care
• Overseeing the implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration
• Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures
• Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing

• Establish a facility-wide system for the prevention, identification, investigation, and control of infections of residents, staff, and visitors. This will include surveillance designed to identify possible communicable disease or infections before they spread.

• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of on-going staff development programs for all personnel within facility

• Ensure that all nursing personnel in our facility comply with established standards, practices, and regulatory requirements for the highest quality of resident care

• Overseeing the implementation of nursing department budgets in coordination with the facility administration

• Implementing compliance and quality improvement policies, programs, and procedures

• Recruiting, training, and onboarding new nursing staff

• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing
