Job summary

Oak Knoll Health and Rehabilitation, a long-term care and rehabilitation facility, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide direct nursing care to residents, assist with rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with the clinical team, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.

Key qualifications include a valid RN license and current BLS/CPR certification; excellent communication and teamwork

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Alabama.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
• Strong clinical skills in geriatric and rehab care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to residents in long-term care and rehab.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents' health conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments per facility protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other professionals on care plans.
• Educate residents and families about care plans and health conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Foster a safe, comfortable, therapeutic environment for residents.
• Supervise and mentor nursing assistants to ensure quality care.
