Cantex Continuing Care Network seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Weekend Supervisor at Edgemere Estates in El Paso, TX. The role oversees patient care, ensures adherence to physician orders, and coordinates nursing staff on weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include assessment, documentation, medication administration, and policy-compliant care planning, while contributing to a positive team culture and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Experience with patient care per physician orders is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and oversee patient care as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Observe, assess, report patient conditions and document changes.
• Document EMR entries related to patient assessments and changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians’ orders; implement care plans.
• Direct, monitor, and coordinate timely delivery of quality patient care.
• Ensure nursing policies are followed in patient care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will participate in and oversee the provision of patient care services consistent with accepted standards and prescribed by attending Physician.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex's Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• May administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and execute physicians’ orders. Evaluated and implements a Patient’s care plan.
• Directs, monitors, and coordinates timely delivery of quality Patient care by all subordinate staff.
• Ensures Patient Care Management Systems are routinely in-serviced and incorporated into the delivery of patient care.
