Cantex Continuing Care Network in El Paso, TX is seeking a dedicated LVN/LPN Charge Nurse for weekend 6pm-6am shifts. This full-time role includes a $3,000 hiring incentive and avenues for career advancement.

You will monitor patient conditions, document in the EMR, administer medications, and supervise CNAs to maintain quality care in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing School.
• Valid LVN/LPN license.
• Experience in nursing care coordination and supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care within the LVN/LPN scope of practice.
• Observe, assess, and report patient conditions; document per policies and regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; maintain accurate records in EMR.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

• As an LVN/LPN - Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will participate in and oversee patient care within the scope of the LVN/LPN licensure.
• Observes, assesses, and reports Patient conditions/changes and documents in accordance with Cantex’s Clinical Policies & Procedures and state/federal guidelines & regulations.
• EMR documentation relevant to patient assessment, evaluation, change of condition, in accordance to nursing practices.
• Ensures implementation of care plans as directed and administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participates in assigning duties and supervises the delivery of appropriate clinical care by the CNA staff to ensure highest practical well-being is maintained by patient.
