Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an RN Charge Nurse for a 105-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Charlottesville. Join an enthusiastic team dedicated to compassionate patient care and family partnerships.

We value caring, warm-hearted nurses who provide direct care, supervise staff, and coordinate comprehensive care plans. 12-hour shifts with opportunities to lead and mentor the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• 1 year of prior nursing experience preferred.
• Management/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates patient status to Unit Manager.
• Assists in supervision, orientation and training of staff; participates in care planning meetings.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides direct care to patients and supervises and directs nursing staff in accordance with state, federal, and MFA guidelines.

• Communicates patient status to the Unit Manager.

• Assists in the supervision, orientation, and training of the nursing staff. Participates in the patient care planning conference with other disciplines.

• Identifies patient goals and approaches.

• 12-Hours Shifts

Job qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Current license with Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.

• One (1) year of previous experience preferred.

• Management/leadership experience preferred.

• Requires frequent lifting (up to 50 pounds), bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
