Job summary

Albermarle Health & Rehabilitation Center in Charlottesville is seeking a Charge Nurse RN to supervise CNAs and provide direct patient care in its 120-bed skilled nursing and rehab setting.

This role rewards compassionate, patient‑centered care and RN oversight in line with MFA guidelines, with regular care-plan updates.

A $10,000 retention bonus is offered for full-time staff, plus a benefits package including health/dental insurance, PTO, holiday pay, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• One (1) year of previous nursing experience preferred.
• New Grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• The Charge Nurse supervises CNAs and provides direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and MFA guidelines.
• Provides general nursing care to patients in accordance with state and federal regulations and MFA nursing policy and procedures.
• Writes weekly/monthly summaries of patients' status, abilities and addresses problems identified in the patient care plan for RN review.
