Job summary

Southview Acres Health Care Center in Minnesota is seeking aRegistered Nurse to provide direct patient care and supervise CNAs. You will administer medications, manage wound care, and coordinate treatment plans within facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN license is required.
• Excellent communication with patients and families.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with CNAs and care team.
• Knowledge of nursing policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care according to state, federal and facility guidelines.
• Supervise CNAs and coordinate nursing care.
• Administer medications and monitor patients.
• Address problems in patient care plans for nurse review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

The Registered Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing direct patient care in accordance with state, federal and facility guidelines
• Supervising CNAs
• Medication administration
• Wound and treatment care
• Provide general nursing care to patients in accordance to the facility nursing policy and procedure
• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for Nurse review

Qualifications & Skills Of Registered Nurse

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy
• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
