Job summary

Valley View Manor, a Residential Health Care Facility, is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our team. We offer flexible 4-, 8-, and 12-hour shifts and a supportive interdisciplinary environment focused on dignity and respect.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, supervising CNAs, medication administration, wound care, and following nursing policies. Strong Minnesota RN licensure and effective communication are required; sign-on bonuses are available for full- and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to interact with diverse people and foster a team philosophy.
• Ability to negotiate and interact with staff, patients, families, and regulatory agents.

The Registered Nurse’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing direct patient care following state, federal, and facility guidelines

• Supervising CNAs

• Medication administration Wound and treatment care

• Provide general nursing care to patients following the facility’s nursing policy and procedure

• Addressing problems identified in the patient care plan for Nurse review

Qualifications & Skills of Registered Nurse

• Current license by the Minnesota Board of Nursing to practice as a Registered Nurse

• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

• Ability to interact with a variety of people and foster a team philosophy

• Ability to negotiate and interact effectively with staff, patients, families, and professional/regulatory agents
