What You’ll Do
- Accompany physicians on daily medical rounds.
- Participate in the care of seriously ill residents.
- Identify and study nursing care problems, offering suggestions for improved methods of care.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of medication action, interactions, side effects, and contraindications.
- Perform quarterly nursing physicals on residents as scheduled.
- Supervise work performance of nursing and direct care staff and complete disciplinary action.
- Contact the pharmacy with medication orders.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment.
What’s Required of You
- Active PA Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
- Positive and caring attitude.
