Creekwood Nursing and Rehabilitation in Russellville, KY is seeking a devoted Registered Nurse to join our 104-bed skilled care community. We offer day and night full-time shifts, a supportive team, and a culture that values teamwork and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Kentucky
• At least one year of RN experience in a long‑term care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepares and administers medications and records in the patient’s chart
• Monitors vital signs and interprets electronic displays
• Monitors and adjusts equipment as needed and initiates corrective action
• Performs bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients
• Assists with discharge planning
• Maintains accurate documentation of care provided

RN Responsibilities:

• Consults and coordinates with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans

• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.

• Records patient's medical information and vital signs.

• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.

• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology

• Provides bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients.

• Changes dressings, inserts catheters, starts IVs

• Prepares equipment and aids physician during examination and treatment of patients.

• Responds to life‑saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocol

• Participates in discharge planning.

• Utilizes time management skills.

• Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.

• Performs other position‑related duties as assigned, depending on assignment setting.

RN Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state

• At least one year of RN experience in a long‑term care setting is preferred.
