Creekwood Nursing & Rehabilitation in Russellville, KY is seeking CNAs for full-time day and night shifts. Join a close-knit team that values residents and staff, with leadership that celebrates wins and provides support.

Qualifications

• One year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current state CNA certification required.
• Ability to lift and ambulate residents and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record vital signs, move and transport residents using proper body mechanics.
• Report changes to nurse management and question unclear situations.
• Communicate tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist nurse with duties as directed.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.

• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.

• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to the nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.

• Communicate effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.

• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.

• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
