Job summary

Creekwood Nursing & Rehabilitation in Russellville, KY is seeking dedicated CNAs for day and night shifts in a friendly, team oriented environment where residents come first. CNAs assist with daily living activities, monitor resident status, and work closely with nursing staff to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record vital signs, assist with lifting, moving, and transporting residents with proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to the nurse management.
• Communicate effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• Minimum of one year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.

CNAs are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.




• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.




• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to the nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.




• Communicate effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.




• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.




• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.




• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
