Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for Full-Time, 2nd shift. The role centers on clinical excellence and resident advocacy within our LTC/SNF setting.

You will administer medications, monitor resident conditions, document in EHR, and lead LPNs and CNAs while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality bedside care. Collaboration with the IDT is essential for updated care plans.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) preferred.
• Proficient with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders and care plans.
• Assess and monitor resident conditions; report changes promptly.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines and facility policies.
• Provide clinical oversight to LPNs and CNAs to maintain safety and quality.
• Maintain precise documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Collaborate with IDT to update care plans and promote resident wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: Administer medications and perform specialized treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.

• Assessment & Monitoring: Utilize advanced clinical skills to accurately report and record resident conditions. Identify and document subtle changes in physical or mental status.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all nursing activities align with local, state, and federal guidelines, as well as facility policies.

• Leadership: Provide clinical oversight to LPNs and CNAs, fostering a culture of safety and high-quality bedside care.

• Documentation: Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) to ensure seamless communication during shift hand-offs.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to update care plans and ensure holistic resident wellness.

Qualifications

• Licensure: Must hold an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in the state of Wisconsin.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.

• Critical Thinking: The ability to work independently in fast-paced environments and make sound clinical decisions.

• Interpersonal Skills: A compassionate bedside manner and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary group.

• Experience: Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) is preferred, but we welcome motivated new graduates.
