Job summary

North Port Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee nursing care on assigned shifts under the Director of Nursing. This role supervises nursing personnel and ensures quality care in alignment with regulations.

We offer a sign-on bonus of $8,000 for FT positions and a comprehensive benefits package. Shifts available: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a. Equal opportunity employer. Background screening required by Florida Clearinghouse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Peripheral IV certification.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience.
• One year of management experience (preferred).
• One year of experience in geriatrics or subacute care.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the daily delivery of nursing care and evaluate staff performance.
• Plan and conduct regular shift staff meetings to identify and resolve concerns and improve services.
• Identify problems or potential issues in resident care and implement corrective action promptly.
• Provide written and verbal reports or recommendations to the Director of Nursing as needed.
• Assist in developing methods to coordinate nursing services with other resident services to support continuity of care.
