Job summary

The Beach Post-Acute in Long Beach, CA is seeking an RN to oversee LVNs and CNAs, ensuring care plans are followed and quality care is delivered. The role requires strong supervisory skills and experience in a SNF setting.

We offer full-time opportunities with a pay range of $45–$55 per hour, plus benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, a 401(k), and paid vacation and sick leave. Shifts are full-time on a 4-on, 2-off rotation.

Qualifications

• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred.
• Oversee LVNs and CNAs in providing direct patient care per care plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LVNs and CNAs to provide direct patient care per each resident's care plan.
• Manage staffing patterns and census to meet resident needs and budget.
• Review staff skills and guide those needing assistance with procedures.
• Supervise and evaluate LVNs and CNAs.
• Initiate investigations of accidents and unusual occurrences and report to DON.
• Keep DON informed about resident and staff status.
• Maintain accurate medical records, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes.

Salary Range: $45.00 To $55.00 Hourly

We are a 98-bed Skilled Nursing Facility with rehabilitation services located in Long Beach. We are currently looking for an RN who is excited to be a part of a culture that celebrates a supportive environment!

Shifts Available: All Full-Time shifts are on a 4 on 2 off rotation schedule.

Pay Range

$45-55/hour Depending on Experience

About the Position

• As the RN, your primary responsibility is to oversee LVN’s and CNA’s in providing direct patient care based on each patient’s care plan to the highest quality.


• Manages area of responsibility with the goal of achieving and maintaining the highest quality of care possible.


• Reviews staffing patterns and the census of nursing units and reassigns personnel, when necessary, to ensure staffing meets resident needs and budgetary controls.


• Monitors the skills of new staff members and guides and observes staff that may need additional assistance with procedures.


• Supervise, direct, and evaluate assigned staff members, LVNs, and CNAs.


• Initiates investigations of accidents and unusual occurrences and makes the necessary written report to the DON.


• Keeps the DON informed about the status of residents, staff, and related matters.


• Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.


• Documents interventions, observations, and resident responses to treatment.
