Job summary

The Beach Post-Acute in Long Beach, CA is hiring CNAs to support residents with daily nursing care. This full-time role operates on a 4 on, 2 off schedule with shifts available in the AM. Pay is $21 per hour and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). You will work alongside a supportive team to deliver quality care to residents.

New grads are encouraged to apply, with opportunities to grow within a 98-bed skilled nursing facility focused on rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Active CA CNA certificate required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

Pay Range:

$21/hour

Position Overview:

As a CNA, you will support your assigned residents with routine daily activities and nursing care services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by the supervisors.

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding
• Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations)
• Help with mobility and safe transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other devices
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment
• Observe and promptly report any changes in a resident’s physical or emotional condition
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members as needed
• Accurately document care and observations according to facility policy and regulations

Qualifications:

• Active CNA Certificate in CA
• BLS/CPR
