SanStone Health is seeking an attentive Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our North Carolina facility. The RN will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, health education, and compassionate resident support.

Under Nursing Director supervision, you will assess patients, transcribe physician orders, and implement care plans while supervising CNAs and coordinating unit activities. Opportunity for growth and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license to practice in North Carolina or a compact license that allows practice in North Carolina.
• Supervise CNAs and other staff to ensure quality care.
• Coordinate nursing care on the unit and ensure staff provide appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the care/services provided by CNAs and other staff.
• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff provide appropriate care to them.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.
• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.
• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents; notify physician of changes and implement orders.
• Develop a plan of care based on assessment and implement nursing care.
• Select and implement nursing interventions to stabilize residents or prevent complications.
• Contribute to resident assessments and development of care plans.

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Registered Nurse (RN) will plan, coordinate, provide and manage nursing care, services, and health education to our residents. These positions require patience, compassion, and a desire to care for the residents in a gentle and empathetic manner. Some responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) may include:

• Supervise the care/services provided by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff.

• Coordinate the nursing care of residents on the unit, assuring all assigned staff provide appropriate care to them.

• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions to residents.

• Accurately transcribe and coordinate the implementation of physician orders.

• Perform nursing assessments regarding the health status of residents. Notify the physician of changes in status and promptly implement and document new orders.

• Develop a plan of care based on assessment, implementing nursing care.

• Select and implement appropriate nursing interventions that may be required to stabilize a resident’s condition and/or prevent complications.

• Contribute to the resident’s assessment and the development of a care plan.
