Villa Health & Rehab in Deland, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our compassionate team. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time staff and $2,000 for part-time applicants.

Formación

• Active RN license in the state.
• Current/active CPR certification.
• Excellent clinical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to stand/walk for 4+ hours per day.
• Ability to bend/stoop for 1+ hour at a time.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with healthcare team to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Prepare and administer medications and document outcomes.
• Educate patients on procedures.
• Record vital signs and medical information.
• Monitor equipment and respond to adverse events.
• Initiate corrective action when adverse symptomatology is observed.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery cases.
• Assist with dressings, catheters, and IV starts.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Document care accurately and timely.

Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Registered Nurse with current state license.
• Must have a current/active CPR certification.
• Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.
• Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)

• Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
• Prepare and administer (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology.
• Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
