Job summary

Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse RN to provide compassionate nursing care in a senior living community. The role includes 32 hours per pay period with every other weekend and holiday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current RN license in good standing with Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living.
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated clinical judgment and professionalism.
• Ability to meet physical demands including resident transfers (50+ lbs).
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents per care plans and physician orders.
• Safely administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation using electronic health records.
• Assess changes in resident condition and communicate with Nurse Manager and families.
• Coordinate guidance to Nursing Assistants to ensure safe care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies and regulatory standards.
• Promote a safe, respectful, person-centered care environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism and strong clinical judgment daily.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living settings
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated clinical judgment, integrity, and professionalism
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
