Job summary

Saint Therese is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Oxbow Lake campus team in Brooklyn Park, MN. You will provide hands-on care, support daily living activities, and assist with meals and mobility, helping residents maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.

The role emphasizes compassion, teamwork, and reliable, person-centered service within a well-established community. Minnesota CNA certification and state training are required.

Qualifications

• State-approved CNA program completed.
• Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry certification.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, transfers.
• Support meals, hydration, and dining assistance as needed.

• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe care environment and document accurately.

Part-Time | Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (24 hours per two-week period)

Schedule: Week 1: Sunday, Thursday | Week 2: Saturday

Pay Range: $21.27 – $28.87 hour (based on experience) *Same Day Pay Available*

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers
• Support residents’ comfort, dignity, and independence through person-centered care
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining support as needed
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement with residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
• Follow care plans, safety procedures, and infection control standards
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in required systems
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members to support resident care and well-being
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service in daily interactions

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of a State approved program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act
• Current certification through Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry required.
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while accurately planning and completing assigned tasks
• Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and respect for others
• Awareness of and sensitivity to residents’ individual needs, interests, and abilities
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and assisting residents (50+ lbs.)
