Job summary

Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake in Brooklyn Park is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. Shift is 2:00pm–10:30pm (64 hours per two-week period).

Duties include assisting with daily living, meals, mobility, and documentation, while upholding safety and infection control standards. You will join a caring team in a well-established community that values dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents.

Pay Range: $21.27 - $28.87 hour (based on experience) *Same Day Pay Available*

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and transfers
• Support residents’ comfort, dignity, and independence through person-centered care
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining support as needed
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement with residents
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
• Follow care plans, safety procedures, and infection control standards
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in required systems
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members to support resident care and well‑being
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service in daily interactions

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of a State approved program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act
• Current certification through Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry required.
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while accurately planning and completing assigned tasks
• Demonstrated good judgment, integrity, and respect for others
• Awareness of and sensitivity to residents’ individual needs, interests, and abilities
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting and assisting residents (50+ lbs.)
