Job summary

Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake in Brooklyn Park is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a dedicated care team. You will provide high-quality nursing care per resident care plans and physician orders, and work the 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. shift with every other weekend and holiday coverage.

The role requires MN LPN licensure, 1 year of senior living nursing experience, and strong communication skills. Benefits include competitive wages, health/dental/vision, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living settings.
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated clinical judgment, integrity, and professionalism.
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.).
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health record systems.
• Assess and communicate changes in resident condition to the Nurse Manager, providers, and family members, and support appropriate follow-up care.
• Coordinate and provide guidance to Nursing Assistants to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and state and federal regulatory standards.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered care environment for residents, families, and team members.

Position includes working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Pay Range

$39.45– $49.31 per hour (based on experience)
