Job summary

Saint Therese at Oxbow Lake in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care within a supportive senior living community. You will administer medications, document care in the EHR, and collaborate with a care team to respond to resident needs while aligning with individualized care plans.

The role supports residents across care settings and emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care in a faith-based nonprofit setting with opportunities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current MN RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in assisted living or similar.
• Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal communication.
• Demonstrated clinical judgment and professionalism.
• Commitment to resident-centered customer service.
• Ability to assist with resident transfers (50+ lbs).
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain on hire.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and resident response.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic health record systems.
• Assess and communicate changes in resident condition to the Nurse Manager, providers, and family.
• Coordinate and guide Nursing Assistants to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care delivery.
• Ensure compliance with clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and person-centered care environment.

Part-Time | Registered Nurse RN

Schedule: Position includes working every other weekend and every other holiday.

Available Shifts: 2:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (24 hours per pay period)

Pay Range: $39.45– $49.31 per hour (based on experience)

Sign on Bonus: $2,500

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living settings
• Working knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated clinical judgment, integrity, and professionalism
• Strong commitment to compassionate, resident-centered customer service
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including assisting with resident transfers (50+ lbs.)
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
