Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting in Jacksonville, FL. You will implement care plans, monitor patient status, and document progress to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, execute orders, and lead discharge planning to ensure safe transitions for every patient. A current Florida RN license and BLS certification are required, with a compact state license preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida prior to hire; multi-state license as applicable.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

- Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• - Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• - Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
