Job summary

Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, part of LifeBridge Health, seeks an experienced RN for ICU/critical care units. You will provide direct clinical nursing care, assess and plan patient care, and supervise staff per shift under the unit manager. Compliance with licensure and hospital policies is required.

The role emphasizes high-quality, safe care, ongoing staff competency, and resource management in a fast-paced critical care environment. A BSN and BLS are required, with ACL within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• One year ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• BSN required.
• Current Maryland RN license or eligibility.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• ACL must be attained within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical nursing care per shift.
• Assess, plan, implement age-appropriate care for assigned patients.
• Supervise nursing staff on the unit as delegated by the unit manager.
• Support CNO to ensure high-quality, safe patient care and efficient resource use.

Summary

Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Experience

At least one year of experience in ICU or Critical Care

Education

Required:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Licensures & Certifications

Required:

• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support

Preferred

• Certified Radiology Nurse
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

Credential Note

ACL (Must be attained within the first 90 days)

Pay Range: $37.15 to $58.33 Based On Experience
