Sinai Hospital's ICU is a 29-bed unit within a Level II Trauma Center, delivering direct clinical care to critically ill medical, neuro, and surgical patients. You will perform shifts, assess needs, and implement age-appropriate care while supervising staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Maryland or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• American Heart Basic Life Support CPR.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.

Sinai Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a 29-bed critical care unit within a Level II Trauma Center, caring for the hospital's most complex medical, neuro, and surgical patients. RNs complete daily interdisciplinary rounds with medical, neuro, and surgical intensivists at a 1:2 ratio, building advanced critical care skills across a broad range of high-acuity cases.

About the Role

Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
