Job summary

LifeBridge Health's Northwest Hospital in Baltimore County is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct clinical patient care on a shift basis. Under the unit manager, you will assess, plan, and implement age-appropriate care and supervise staff to ensure high-quality, safe nursing services.

You will collaborate with the CNO and care teams to optimize resources, maintain competency, and support patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with licensure and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or eligibility.
• One year of experience in critical care preferred.
• Nursing degree required.
• ACLS and PALS required within specified timeframes.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct age-appropriate clinical care per shift.
• Supervise staff and delegate care appropriately.
• Support unit manager to ensure high-quality, safe nursing care.
• Assist CNO with resource management and staff competency.

Summary:
Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Must have one year of experience with critical care preferred.

Licensures & Certifications

Required:

• Registered Nurse License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Credential Note:

ACLs is required within 2 months of hire date and PALS required within 6 months of hire date.

Pay Range: $37.15 to $58.33 Based On Experience
