Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Radiation Oncology team. This role floats across Treasure Valley sites (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Fruitland) with a 0.9 FTE schedule and day shift (four 9-hour days).

You will collaborate with an interprofessional team to evaluate patients, provide care, and assist with CT simulation and radiation procedures while maintaining quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• RN license required and current in state of practice.
• BLS Provider Certification from recognized organizations.
• Preferred: Oncology/Radiation Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and support the physician with patient care.
• Provide care coordination and education as part of the interprofessional team.
• Monitor and assist with CT simulation and radiation procedure patients.
• Cross-train to Radiation Oncology Triage.

What You Can Expect:

• No nights, weekends, or St. Luke’s observed holidays
• Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!
• Certification pay available (ex. OCN)
• The Primary Float RN offers medical guidance and education while providing excellent care as an interprofessional team
• Work closely with providers, navigators, pharmacists, patient financial advocates, and other disciplines
• Evaluate patients and support the physician with patient care
• Assist in monitoring and caring for CT simulation and radiation procedure patients
• Cross train to Radiation Oncology Triage

• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience
