Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Idaho is seeking a part-time Radiation Therapist to join our imaging team. The role involves working with Varian True Beam, CT simulation on site, and an on-call rotation for after-hours, holidays and weekends with low call-back rates.

The Boise location offers SBRT, SRT/SRS, TBI and pediatric cases with and without sedation. Minimum qualifications include an Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree, and current BLS and ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS and ARRT Radiation Therapy certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy under a Varian True Beam system with CT simulation on site.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation with low call-back rates.
• Assist in SBRT, SRT/SRS, TBI and pediatric cases where applicable.

What You Can Expect:

• Schedule: Part time, 56 hours per pay period scheduled Monday-Friday, day shift
• On call rotation for after hours, holidays and weekends with low call back rates.
• Varian True Beam averaging 20-30 patients per day. CT Sim on site.
• Strong safety culture and continued work to maintain process improvement to mitigate unnecessary errors
• The Boise location is poised to treat:
  • SBRT, SRT/SRS, TBI, Pediatrics with and without sedation.

Minimum Qualifications for this Role:

• Education: Associates degree or experience in lieu of degree
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiation Therapy.
