St. Luke’s Health System in Boise is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Chemotherapy Infusion Center. The CIC RN will administer high‑risk medications, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and provide direct oncology care in a 24‑chair CIC setting.

The role involves blood products, fluids, and injections, with cross-training opportunities across oncology departments. The position offers a 0.9 FTE schedule with a day shift, 4 x 9’s, and a rotating holiday schedule, along with sign‑on bonus

We're looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Chemotherapy Infusion Center (CIC) team in Boise!

Our St. Luke’s Cancer Institute (SLCI) clinics are dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke’s Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke’s holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.

What You Can Expect:

• Full-time (0.9 FTE)

• Schedule: day shift, 4 x 9’s

• Rotating holiday schedule: 1 holiday a year (St. Luke’s observes 6 major holidays)

• The CIC RN provides hands on nursing care for the oncology population by administering high-risk medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the CIC

• Our Boise CIC location has 24 chemo chairs/beds and is open from 0630-1800

• The CIC also administers blood products, fluids, and injections

• Cross train to other departments in oncology

• Sign-on bonus eligible for new hires!

Qualifications:

• Education: Nursing Degree

• Experience: One (1) + years’ RN experience

• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice AND Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross

• Preferred: Oncology experience, OCN certification, and/or ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification
