Job summary

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, adjusting plans,/documenting in EHR, and potentially floating to other units as needed. Minimum 1 year RN experience; BSN preferred; BLS certification required.

Qualifications

• Must be RN licensed in the appropriate state with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN degree preferred; strong communication and clinical judgment required.
• Proficient with electronic health records and standard clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans accordingly.
• Upholds safety culture and ensures accurate EHR documentation.
• Collaborates with the care team and appropriately delegates tasks.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintains professional development and required certifications.
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical patient care.
• May float to other units as needed within the service area.
